Bereavement Gardening

Bereavement Gardening

If you're grieving the loss of a loved one, or if someone isn't around to look after their garden, we're here to lend a helping hand.

What is a Bereavement Gardener?

According to grief charity Sue Ryder, 40% of people feel that gardening have saved them from grief, but we know that it's not always that easy to get into the garden and get started. Especially if your grief is new, which is where Bereavement Gardeners come in.

How Can We Help?

We offer two types of bereavement gardening:

Garden Maintenance

If you're grieving and need a gentle helping hand to keep your garden maintained, we can maintain your garden's peace whilst you find your's. From lawn mowing and gentle pruning, to a full clean up, de-weeding, lawn mowing, and jet washing for gardens that need a little extra love, we're here to help.

You can use this service as a one-off visit, or book in regular visits to keep your garden maintained until you're ready.

Property Sale Preparation

It's not easy to prepare a property for sale, especially whilst grieving. We're here to give you one less thing to think about. We'll come and prepare the property's garden for sale including de-weeding, lawn moving, jet washing, and removal of all debris and green waste. This is a one-off service. We'll work with your estate agent to arrange the best time for us to tidy things up before the estate agent takes their listing photos.
